Stonehenge is one of the most famous sites in the world, just 8 miles from Salisbury. Stonehenge is the remains of a ring of standing stones set within earthworks. Archaeologists believe it was built anywhere from 3000 BC to 2000 BC.

In addition to chimpanzees, Monkey World is also home to Orangutans, Gibbons, Ring-Tailed Lemurs, stump-tailed macaques and several types of monkey. There is a large adventure play area, pets corner, woodland walk, cafe and gift shop. All this within a 1 hour drive from Salisbury.
